Shalakany obtains voluntary enforcement of a multi-million dollar award
Following its successful representation of its Client in an international commercial arbitration conducted under the auspices of the Cairo Regional Center for International Commercial Arbitration, Shalakany is pleased to announce that it has successfully handled and concluded the settlement negotiations and the amicable enforcement of the award on behalf of its Client, a major hotel operator in Egypt. Shalakany acted as sole legal counsel for the Client, obtained a favorable award in the arbitration proceedings initiated by its Client against a major player in the real estate and tourism industries, and handled the settlement negotiations with the opposing party from the very beginning until its positive conclusion in August.
